The UC Denver Business School in the heart of Downtown

Students studying outsideThe University of Colorado Denver campus is in the heart of downtown, near LoDo (lower downtown) which is known for its excellent restaurants, shopping and vibrant night life. Denver has an award winning bus and light rail system so many students commute from all over the Front Range. Others work in downtown offices and can get to classes without moving their cars after work.

You may know about Colorado for its wonderful skiing, and while our mountains get plenty of snow, Denver itself tends to have a few storms a year, but with over 300 sunny days, it can melt within days.

In the summer, temperatures can into the 80ºs and 90ºs (F). Denverites use the extensive bike trails for walking, roller-blading and biking. Take a gondola ride down the Platte River near campus or study on in a sunny cafe on Larimer square.

The mountains are Colorado's playground, offering hiking, camping, fishing, mountain biking or visiting some of the quaint towns for a nice day of shopping and an exquisite meal in a mountain restaurant. Social clubs like The Colorado Mountain Club offers group hikes and other experiences.
