Non Degree certification programs
The University of Colorado Denver Business School has teamed up with Systemation to sponsor certificate programs in project management and business analysis.
Certificates offered
Visit the Systemation web site for more information on each of the certificates.
Project Management
- Practitioner Certificate in Project Management
- emphasizes the successful planning and initiation phases of the project management discipline. In addition to providing technique-based competencies, the Practitioner Certificate Program teaches you the "softer" skills as well, such as negotiation techniques, getting management buy-in and effectively working with others.
- Advanced Certificate in Project Management
- gives you the skills needed to keep large, complex and often simultaneous projects progressing on time and within budget. Just as important, you learn how to deal with tough personnel issues like boosting team morale and conflict resolution. The final workshop within the program brings it all together by taking you through a real-world, 30-week project scenario using a computer-based simulation.
- Rapid PMP Certificate
- is designed to give project managers a working knowledge of key project management components. The first two workshops cover state-of-the-art techniques for managing projects across the entire lifecycle, while the third focuses entirely on preparing you for the PMP exam.
- Project Management Boot Camp
- provides you with the core techniques needed to be an effective manager. It is focused on providing time proven tools for the planning and controlling/monitoring aspects of the project lifecycle.
Business Analysis
- Business Analysis Program Certificate
- gives analysts the formal grooming they need to perform their roles more effectively and the critical skills needed to ensure projects get headed down the right path.
- Practioner Certificate in Business Analysis
- is ideal for normalizing analyst skill and knowledge levels across the organization. In addition to learning how to identify and fix broken business processes, you are schooled in proper business and system data flow diagramming and the finer points of team communication.
- Advanced Certificate in Business Analysis
- educates you in data modeling, the power of entity relationship diagramming and best practice in system design, solution implementation and impact communication. Finally, you will participate in an authentic simulation that provides a "reenactment" of a true-to-life emergency business scenario.
