MS degrees with a MBA
Get both the career advantages of a MBA's broad knowledge base with the specialized skills of a MS degree.
Typically you will complete 36 MBA credit hours, and the specified coursework for your chosen MS focus, accounting, finance, decision sciences, information systems, international business, management or marketing.
Add an MS to your MBA in Health Administration
Add a University of Colorado Denver Business School Master of Science degree to your MBA in Health Administration. See your graduate advisor for more information on adding a dual degree to your MBA.
You may focus on accounting, finance, decision sciences, information systems, international business, management or marketing when adding a MS to your MBA in Health Administration.
Adding a graduate degree to another school's degree
Add an MBA to another school program. We have a dual MBA for you for the following programs:
- The College of Architecture and Planning to add an MBA to either a Master of Architecture (M.Arch) or Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) degree
- School of Medicine, for a dual MD with a MBA
- The economics department to add a MS in Finance to your MA in economics.
- The Garvin School of International Management program at Thunderbird (in Arizona) to add a Master of International Management (MIM) to your MBA. This degree will require coursework at Thunderbird's Arizona campus.
Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, to allow you to continue your education and add a MS in Finance or an MBA degree after graduating from their program.
Applying for a Dual Degree
To get a dual degree, you must apply and be accepted into both programs. Be sure you contact a graduate advisor if you are interested in pursuing a dual degree.
