I decided to attend the Computer Science and Information Systems PhD program because the work of its faculty members is excellent and highly relevant for my research interest. The courses in the program are varied and cover traditional information systems theories as well as recent developments in the related knowledge and methodology. In addition, we can also benefit from the seminar series regularly offered in the school. The school has a progressive research synergy and interdisciplinary work is highly encouraged. For instance, I am free to approach my research topic fro the various perspectives of other disciplines such as marketing and economics. Most importantly, the faculty are approachable and always supportive in giving both scrupulous criticism and encouragement. Thus far my experience here has transcended any of my expectations I cam with. After two years of studying here I do not think I could find a better place to do my PhD.
