Jennifer Sorokaty
- BS Business Administration, Marketing. Since graduating from CU Denver in 2005, I was promoted to a Marketing Coordinator position at the law firm I was working at. Since then, I've changed jobs and am currently working at the Downtown Denver Partnership (DDP). The DDP is a public/private organization that works to enhance, maintain, and promote Downtown Denver. It has given me the opportunity to give back to the community that I grew up in and learn more about Denver. Some of the activities I've had the chance to be involved in include the Taste of Colorado, the Parade of Lights, Downtown Denver's New Year Eve's fireworks display, DDP's annual awards dinner and annual meeting, a major Downtown Holiday shopping campaign, enhancing the appearance of Downtown with cultural advertising and more. I've supported campaigns that focused on transportation, housing, economic development, public policy, urban planning, and general DDP membership. I've assisted the DDP in maintaining their brand image and set design guidelines. I've worked with civic and business other organizations including the City of Denver offices, the Denver Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Chamber of Commerce, SCFD organizations and general Downtown retailers and businesses. I know that without my degree from CU Denver I would not be where I am today.
